Ordu Metropolitan Municipality continues to expand and renovate the intersections in order to alleviate the traffic burden of Altınordu district, and is preparing to complete its works in Ulubey (Sivas Junction) after the Municipal Junction.

Following ongoing landscaping works, the crossroad will serve the citizens with its renewed face.

Dr. Ordu Metropolitan Mayor who examined the works on the spot. Mehmet Hilmi Güler stated that the work has come to an end. Mayor Güler said, “We made investigations at Sivas Junction, where we are about to complete the work in order to relieve city traffic in our Ordu. Traffic has become a big problem for our city. We are trying our best to minimize this problem. In this context, with these regulation works, we minimize traffic accidents, ensure that vehicles and pedestrians pass through the intersection in the shortest distance and time, reduce time losses, save fuel while waiting in the light, increase the visibility of the drivers and watch them at the appropriate position and speed and turn the big vehicles. We aim to facilitate its movement. Every work we do is a concrete step for modern, exemplary Ordu construction. Our work will continue without interruption. ”

“IT WILL BE SUBMITTED TO SERVICE AFTER LANDSCAPE WORKS”

Providing information about the arrangements made at the intersection, President Güler said, “The assembly of the ready-made signaling poles and tags and the assembly of the auto and pedestrian groups were made. Signaling board was placed. Meter and fuse connections were made by pulling the power cable. Signaling was activated by installing software for the intersection. Road lane lines were drawn on 3 branches of the intersection. Pedestrian crossing line markings were made in the direction of Ulubey and Giresun-Samsun direction in accordance with the signalization pedestrian crossing. Traffic flow direction was determined with arrows and symbols. According to the intersection arrangement, the direction signs on the road were removed. Sivas-Ulubey-State Hospital writings were written for the direction sign in the intersection. The intersection will be fully ready for service after the landscape works, ”he said.
