Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mehmet Sekmen met with the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu through the video conference system. AK Party Erzurum Deputies Prof. Dr. Recep Akdağ, Selami Altınok, Zehra Taşkesenlioğlu and İbrahim Aydemir attended the meeting, which included Erzurum Governor Okay Memiş and AK Party Erzurum Provincial Head Mehmet Emin Öz. At the meeting where Metropolitan Mayor Mehmet Sekmen shared information about transportation projects in Erzurum, Minister Karaismailoğlu expressed his views on the government's investments in Erzurum and the region. During the meeting, in which the last situation was evaluated as well as the transportation measures taken during the epidemic, Minister Karaismailoğlu underlined that there would be no disruption in the investments planned by the ministry.

During the meeting held with the video conference system, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu, who also exchanged views with the delegation of Erzurum, noted that very serious investment projects are being carried out in the land, air and rail transportation point in the Eastern Anatolia Region and that the process will continue without disruption.

We had some evaluations on the axis of tourism and transportation, and we shared our expectations with our Minister in this sense. Our minister also asked us to be good cheer in terms of transportation investments that concern Erzurum and the region. We thank our Minister for his close interest and especially his approach to our city. ”
