Number of Places with Corona Quarantine Announced

The Ministry of the Interior made a new statement regarding the corona virus measures. The statement made by the Ministry is as follows:

Within the scope of corona virus measures; As of 08.04.2020, at 16.00, in 45 provinces; Quarantine is applied in a total of 2 settlements including 6 district centers, 92 towns, 47 villages, 9 neighborhoods and 156 hamlets. Quarantine application has been terminated in 5 settlements in 6 provinces.

Quarantine implementations are carried out with the decision of provincial and district hygiene committees under the chairmanship of the local administrative officers. These practices are for precautionary purposes and have been taken to prevent the corona virus epidemic from spreading and threatening the lives of our citizens and to provide social isolation in the settlements.
