Family, Labor and Social Services Minister Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk announced that a total amount of 176.440.119 lira was transferred to the Social Assistance and Solidarity (SYD) Foundations to be given to the needy and relatives and veterans before the month of Ramadan.

Stating that the necessary precautions were taken to deliver the resources sent for food aid before the month of Ramadan, Minister Selçuk said, “SYD Foundations are working meticulously to ensure that the money transferred is delivered to those in need quickly. I believe that we will complete this process without anybody in need. ” said.

Those Who Cannot Meet Their Basic Needs Due To Kovid-19 Will Also Benefit

Sharing the details of who will benefit from the benefits provided by SYD Foundations, Minister Selçuk said, “Although there are no socially safe households and one who is socially secure, households with income per capita less than 1/3 of the minimum wage net amount can benefit.” used expressions.

Minister Selçuk also reminded that the emergency decision was taken due to the Kovid-19 outbreak, and that those who are unable to meet their basic needs periodically can also benefit from these benefits.

In addition, every year, before the month of Ramadan and Eid al-Adha, we transfer additional resources in the amount of a periodic share to meet the basic food needs of the needy households, our relatives and veterans. ” said.
