Masks produced by teachers and employees of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Vocational Courses (KOMEK) were distributed to citizens by bus and tram stops in the city center and municipal personnel for free.
Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that public transportation will not be masked without the mask within the scope of coronavirus measures and stated that they will meet the mask needs of citizens using public transportation.
Konya Metropolitan Municipality continues to apply social distance rules by regularly disinfecting buses and trams in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
