Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca made examinations at the pandemic hospitals, which are under construction at Sancaktepe and Atatürk Airport campuses, and at Başakşehir İkitelli City Hospital.
After the examinations, Minister Koca made a statement regarding the hospitals built in Sancaktepe and Atatürk Airport campus.
Minister of Health Koca, regarding the hospital built in Sancaktepe, said, “We are in Sancaktepe. Our epidemic, earthquake and disaster hospital is rapidly being built. Our multipurpose hospital, consisting of a total of 432 beds, 1008 of which are intensive care units, will provide full capacity service in every need. Turkey, the health system will continue to make a difference in the world, "he said.
Minister Koca, regarding the hospital under construction at Atatürk Airport campus, said, “We will make Istanbul ready for disasters on both sides. The multi-purpose hospital we built in Yeşilköy; A strong health infrastructure will create an epidemic, earthquake and all kinds of disasters. Our hospital, which can be converted into intensive care units, shared a total of 1008 beds.
Minister Fahrettin Koca visited Başakşehir İkitelli City Hospital shortly after the opening of the first stage after visiting the construction sites of the hospitals, the construction of which started in Sancaktepe and Atatürk Airport campus.
During the investigation, Minister Koca received information from the authorities about the project work of the hospital.
