Having a relentless fight against the coronavirus epidemic in Kocaeli, the Metropolitan Municipality trains its staff against the virus. In order to carry out the funeral procedures of citizens who died due to coronavirus in accordance with the rules, the staff of the Funeral Services Branch Directorate was trained by the Health and Social Services Department experts.
MEASURES TO BE TAKEN WERE TRANSFERED
In the training held in Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality City Cemetery Service Building, the procedure to be applied to the people who died with the diagnosis of Covid-19 was told to the funeral service personnel. In the training, it was stated that the personnel used gloves, masks (N95 / FFP2), glasses / face protectors and liquid-proof aprons. The necessity of disinfecting the funeral washing areas with 1/10 bleach or chlorine tablet was transferred. In addition, staff were trained on hand hygiene, standard infection protection and control measures, respiratory secretions and contact measures.
