Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Emine Alp Meşe attended the G20 Health Ministers Meeting held under the chairmanship of Saudi Arabista via video conference.

Health System Capacity Planning in the context of Turkey, much before the appearance of the first cases in the country, made arrangements for the upcoming health system Kovid-19 threat.

The Ministry of Health actively used social media and other platforms to inform the public and share accurate information. Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca gave information daily and shared the recommendations based on the latest evidence.

“Comprehensive Tracking Strategy Developed”

In the scope of "Comprehensive Contact Tracking and Inventory Planning" under Supporting Strategies, a comprehensive follow-up strategy was developed. Contact tracking for all cases was carried out by the Ministry of Health, and 97,5 percent of the contacts were successfully achieved in terms of detection, testing and regular follow-up.
