We are with our tradesmen

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş met with the heads of private public bus cooperatives in Bursa center, İnegöl, Mustafakemalpaşa and Gemlik districts in order to avoid this process with the least damage. The measures to be taken during the 'Covid 19' process were discussed at the meeting held at the Burulaş building, attended by Ulaş Akhan, the General Secretary of the Metropolitan Municipality, and Mehmet Kürşat Çapar, the General Manager of Burulaş. Expressing that the number of public transportation drops in Bursa by 87-88 percent, Mayor Aktaş said, “We do not do public transportation on our own. We have important stakeholders. We have private public buses in the center, Inegol, Mustafakemalpasa and Gemlik. Together, we strive to bring our people from home to work in the morning and from work to home in the evening. Especially in the last 20 - 25 days, the figures were seriously affected. Our notables were also seriously affected by this process. As Metropolitan, it would never be possible for us to remain insensitive to this issue. First of all, I would like to thank all our friends. In this process, we did not come to the agenda with intensive metro and buses. Maybe there were a few exceptions in the early days, that's all. There was also a special effort of private public buses to carry out the transportation in accordance with the 50 percent rule. What we can do for this group of tradesmen, we have consulted about it. We do not know how the process will continue. All the transportation numbers are under zapturapt, we know them all. Therefore, we are at their sides and behind them in terms of being supported by both fuel and driver. As long as they continue to be in a stance that will not affect our service quality. We will also have support and contribution related to mask distribution. I hope that we will spend this troubled process together without any problems. I thank all our friends for their sacrifice. ”

Bursa Private Public Buses Chamber of Craftsmen Sadi Eren and the heads of public transportation cooperatives from the districts thanked President Aktaş for their support and contributions.
