Works of the 3rd Stage Rail System of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality continue at great speed. Infrastructure works are being carried out in the project, which started the Meltem stage with the completion of the multi-storey junction.
Works are continuing without interruption in the 3rd Stage Rail System Project of the Metropolitan Municipality, which will connect Varsak to the city center with the Bus Station, Antalya Training and Research Hospital. After the multi-storey junction on Dumlupınar Boulevard, came into service last month, work began at the Meltem-Antalya Education Research phase. Infrastructure displacement works are carried out in the 300-meter section of Meltem Caddesi between Dumlupınar Boulevard Yanyolu and İsmail Baha Sürelsan Caddesi.
On the other hand, a feverish work is being carried out at the Bus Station-Meltem stage of the project. Excavation work has been completed at the 28-meter-deep West Train Station at the bus station entrance, and reinforced concrete manufacturing has started. While the rail assemblies are completed in the section from the bus station to Meltem, parquet production continues. While pulling cables to supply energy to the system, catheter poles are mounted along the line. It is aimed to finish the parquet and pole manufacturing between the bus station and Meltem within 2 weeks.
In addition, the excavation works of the tunnel passes under the Bus Terminal Junction were completed and concrete productions were started. After this stage, which is expected to be completed in 2 months, a rail will be laid inside the tunnels.
