Quarantine Done ..! Private Public Buses Will Be Released Again

385 public buses, which were out of service due to the quarantine of the drivers working in private public buses, joined the public transportation network. Public transportation carried out by the Metropolitan Municipality buses and the rail system during quarantine will now be provided by public buses.

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality made a new planning in public transportation after the quarantine of 850 drivers working in private public buses after quarantine with the decision of the Provincial Hygiene Board and provided the public transportation service by Metropolitan Municipality buses and rail system vehicles. In this process, in order to protect the social distance in vehicles, public transportation services were provided with intensive flights in the morning and evening hours, and the flight hours of the rail system vehicles were increased.

As of the beginning of the week, the quarantine period for public bus drivers has ended. Covid-19 virus was not found in private public bus drivers, which were retested at the end of the quarantine period. With the negative tests of the drivers, 385 public buses joined the public transportation network. In order to establish a social distance with the public buses starting the service, the services decreased in the afternoon due to the increase of the services in the morning and evening and returned to normal.
