Taking many measures to prevent the spread of the epidemic, the Metropolitan Municipality started to distribute masks to citizens free of charge after the necessity of a mask for public transportation vehicles. Masks are distributed by private security officers in the trams, while those who buy tickets at the ticket offices and install Eskart are given their masks. The Metropolitan Municipality officials, who stated that no unmasked passengers will be admitted to the vehicles, stated that it would be better both for their own health and public health in this process.
