In the tender, 35 thousand cars pass daily for Aydın-Kuyucak section of the highway and 32 thousand cars pass daily for Kuyucak-Denizli section are guaranteed.
Tolls will be charged as 5 euro cents per kilometer on an automobile basis.
Professor Dr. Uğur Emek stated that the present value of the guarantee given during the operation period can be easily calculated with the tender information:
“Traffic guarantee is given in two sections. However, there is no information on the lengths of the lower sections. Therefore, I will take the average of the traffic guarantee (33.500 cars / day) in the two subdivisions and calculate the amount of the warranty for the entire highway (154 km).
An automobile running along the motorway will pay $ 8,43 (54,4 TL) and 33.500 cars will pay $ 282.244.
In this case, the current amount of the traffic / income guarantee given during the operation is 1,8 billion dollars or 11,8 billion TL.
This traffic guarantee will be updated every year according to the inflation in the country where the project loan is provided, as in other transportation BOT projects.
In addition, the Denizli-Burdur and Burdur-Antalya Motorways are built using the BOT method and if the traffic / income guarantee is given, the amount of guarantees given on the Izmir-Antalya road will increase even more. ”(Universal)
