Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality established a solar powered mobile signaling system, a first in Şanlıurfa, to find solutions to pedestrian safety and vehicle density on Atatürk Boulevard.
After the mobile signaling system implemented by the order of Metropolitan Mayor Zeynel Abidin Beyazgül and implemented for the first time in the city, the confusion in the Atatürk Boulevard Emirgan pedestrian crossing is now a thing of the past.
SOLAR ENERGY WIRELESS MOBILE SIGNALIZATION
The mobile signaling system, which has been installed and commissioned by the Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department teams within just 2 hours, works as solar energy completely without the need for a city network. The fact that the system used is portable and solar powered offers a practical solution. The system working with WiFi communication is state of the art and saves cable. In addition, this system, which was installed practically without damaging the asphalt and the environment, can be removed again if needed.
