Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Memduh Büyükkılıç's calls to "stay at home", which he made in order to be least affected by the coronavirus outbreak affecting the world, were also reflected on traffic lights and digital direction signs.
Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality continues the calls made by Kayseri in order not to leave the house unless it is mandatory, using almost any platform. Traffic lights and digital direction signs are also used in calls to minimize the coronavirus threat.
Drivers and pedestrians in traffic encounter the text "Stay Home" with red light. The same call is sent to citizens with digital overhead direction signs located in different parts of the city. On the digital signposts, the words “Your safest place is your home” and “Stay at Home Kayseri” are included.
Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç stated that the most important measure for personal and public health is to stay at home during this period. Expressing that they expect them to comply with the calls made by all Kayseriers, Mayor Büyükkılıç said that the coronavirus, a global threat, can be overcome with the sensitivity of the society.
