Manisa Metropolitan Municipality, which regularly disinfects in public transportation vehicles used by thousands of citizens every day, ensures that citizens travel in a healthy way. Stating that the citizens took the necessary precautions to make a healthy journey, Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department Head Hüseyin Üstün stated that the citizens should be more sensitive in this process.
Passenger Control in Buses for Health
In line with the circular issued by the Ministry of Interior, Manisa Metropolitan Municipality inspected the intercity buses at the central and district terminals. Stating that 50 percent of the carrying capacity specified in the vehicle license should be carried in accordance with the published circular, the terminal police teams warned the passengers and vehicle drivers to pay attention to the social distance.
Within the scope of combating coronavirus, it issued a circular by the Ministry of Interior on the passenger capacities of intercity and urban vehicles. According to the published circular, 50 percent of the passenger capacity specified in the license will be carried in public transport. In accordance with the published circular, Manisa Metropolitan Municipality also conducted passenger inspections on intercity buses at the central and district terminals. While conducting inspections on individual vehicles, Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department President Hüseyin Üstün stated that both passengers and drivers should pay attention to the safe distance for their health.
