Turhan stated that the city gained many works with the service policy that started on the day when President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was elected as mayor in Istanbul.
“This highway was built as four departures and four arrivals. Our road, the construction of which we started in 2013, was opened to traffic after 30 August 2016. Today, a total of 29 kilometers has been put into service with the 286 kilometers section between Kınalı Junction and Çatalca Junction. We plan to open the remaining 112 kilometers by the end of this year. Today, with the support of you, we are opening the service between Kınalı Junction and Çatalca Junction. Once this is put into service, transit traffic from neighboring provinces in the east and west directions will have the opportunity to pass without entering Istanbul. This will shorten the road of transit traffic, which has to pass through Istanbul, by 18 kilometers, and will provide an economic transportation. ”
