The first test drive on the Ankara-Sivas high-speed railway line was successfully carried out by Mehmet Cahit Turhan, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, who came to the district of Bishayh of Kirikkale.
Transport and Infrastructure Minister Mehmet Cahit Turhan, who came to the district of Bisheyh of Kirikkale to examine the Ankara-Sivas High Speed Train (YHT) line, successfully carried out the energetic test drive here. Carrying out a test drive between the 90th and 104th kilometers of the Ankara-Sivas high-speed railway line, Minister Turhan received information from the authorities about the latest status of the works.
During the test drive, Minister Turhan was accompanied by Deputy Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu, Kırıkkale Governor Yunus Sezer, TCDD General Manager Ali İhsan Uygun, TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ General Manager Kamuran Yazıcı and officials.
With a total investment cost of 9 billion 749 million liras, the project will reduce the distance between Ankara and Sivas from 12 hours to 2 hours when completed.
