Minister Turhan made examinations in Badal Tunnel and Kırkdilim Tunnel

Transport and Infrastructure Minister Mehmet Cahit Turhan, General Director of Highways Abdulkadir Uraloğlu and his accompanying delegation visited Samsun, Çorum and Amasya to receive information from the authorities in order to evaluate various issues and to examine the ongoing projects on site.

While examining the road construction works carried out in Ladik and Havza districts of Samsun for the first time, Minister Turhan stated that the split road works between Havza and Vezirköprü districts have come to an end; “This corridor starting from Havza and ending in Gerede covers İsmetpaşa, Karabük, Kastamonu, Taşköprü and Sinop's Boyabat, Durağan districts and Samsun Vezirköprü. Western direction was made until Durağan. Now we will start the works between Havza and Vezirköprü. Then, we will put the section between Vezirköprü and Durağan, whose project studies continue, into service as a divided road after the project works are completed. ” said.

Moving to Çorum, Minister Turhan made examinations at Osmancık - Merzifon Road Badal Tunnel and Kırkdilim tunnel construction sites. Turhan said that the Kırkdilim tunnels built on the Çorum-Osmancık highway, which is one of the most important routes connecting the Black Sea Region to Central Anatolia, will be completed and opened for traffic next year, with the Kırkdilim tunnels built with an investment of approximately 570 million liras. He said that intersections with bridges will be built at some points where he is concentrated.

Transport and Infrastructure Minister Turhan, which is on the Osmancık-Merzifon Highway, which is located in the provincial borders of Amasya, and which passes by the vehicle through the Badal Tunnel, which consists of 844 tubes, each of which is 2 meters long, is a period of time in the tunnel that will contribute to ensuring transportation safety in the Badallar location where traffic accidents frequently occur. After the excavation works that were completed before, he received information from the authorities regarding the ongoing manufacturing activities.

Minister Turhan, who made evaluations after the examinations, held the consultation meeting held with the participation of the delegation, governor, mayors, other public institutions and officials accompanying him.
