Public Transport Vehicles Are Disinfected Every Day in Tekirdağ

Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality continues its disinfection efforts continuously in the context of combating the epidemic.

In this context, the buses operating in the Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality Public Transportation System are disinfected by the Health Affairs Department spraying teams every day. Stating that they continue their disinfection processes meticulously, Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Kadir Albayrak said, “Our public transportation vehicles belonging to our Metropolitan Municipality are regularly disinfected by our teams in order to protect our citizens from the coronavirus outbreak. In addition, the Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department Teams placed “Stay at Home” and “Go Home” in the red light in traffic signaling systems in order to increase the awareness of the citizens not to leave the house unless they have to.

Stating that it is very important not to leave the house unless it is compulsory to protect against the epidemic in the fight against Kovid-19, which reaches dimensions threatening human health worldwide and in our country, Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Kadir Albayrak said, “In order to increase the awareness of our citizens on this issue, our Transportation Department teams started working on signaling systems. At the traffic lights, the words "Stay at Home" and "Go Home" were placed on the Red Light. We are doing these studies in 11 districts. As Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality, we work for our citizens, and we ask our citizens not to leave the house unless it is compulsory. We will overcome this epidemic together. ”
