Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Police continues to follow the implementation of the measures taken within the scope of combating coronavirus in transportation, as in every field it is authorized. It also works meticulously in raising awareness of the rules set for the health of Istanbulites.
In this context, personnel-carrying services, buses, minibuses, terminals at intercity bus terminals, recreational boats, companies engaged in sea tour organizations, businesses operating for tourism and sports were audited. In the audits, it was determined that the businesses comply with the rules.
During the inspections carried out by the İBB Police, the vehicles carrying passengers on land and at sea received half as many customers as their specified capacities and followed the disinfection procedure; On the other hand, it has been observed that the businesses that work for tourism and sports at sea have been terminated in accordance with the rules and their piers have been closed.
No negativity was found in the 15 July Martyrs and Alibeyköy bus terminals, which carry passengers between cities. The teams visited the terminals one by one and informed the businesses about the precautions to be taken against the coronavirus.
