TGV high-speed train, which sails between Strasbourg and the capital Paris in France, is derailed in the Ingenheim region. In the accident, 21 people were seriously injured. It was stated that the situation of the machinist among the injured was severe.
The accident occurred at 7.19 this morning near Ingenheim in the Bas-Rhin region. There were a total of 200 passengers on the train, which was traveling at a speed of approximately 348 km/h before the accident occurred.
The French State Railway Company SNCF said on Twitter that the train mechanic was seriously injured and evacuated by helicopter, and a major landslide caused an accident.
The Strasbourg Prosecutor launched an investigation into the accident.
