Call for Stay at Traffic Lights in Balıkesir

Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality added a new one to its efforts to support the #EvdeKal campaign. The municipality called for citizens by writing “STAY AT HOME” on the traffic lights in the city center signaling systems.

Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality continues to work 7 hours a day, 24 days a week, in the city center and districts, under the direction of the coronovirus epidemic, which affects the whole world. Continuing disinfection and washing with detergents, the teams also support the “Vefa Social Support Group” established by the Ministry of Interior in Balıkesir Governorship in line with the “Curfew” circular. Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Planning and Rail Systems Department Traffic Services Branch Directorate wrote “STAY AT HOME” in the traffic lights in the city center signaling systems in order to raise awareness about the citizens' staying at home against the risk of spreading the coronavirus (Covid-65) outbreak in our country. The works will be implemented at other signalized intersections.

CONTINUE TO WORK WITH COORDINES WITH DISTRICT MUNICIPALITIES

In order to support the #EvdeKal campaign, Balıkesir Metropolitan Mayor Yücel Yılmaz and district mayors also warned citizens about the process to stay at home in their social media accounts. Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts to combat coronavirus throughout the city with the district municipalities.
