Public Transport Vehicles Are Disinfected in Başkent

After the EGO and Private Public Buses and Rail Systems, which are visited by tens of thousands of passengers every day, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to work for disinfection and sterilization in minibuses against the risk of epidemics.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality has increased its measures against the risk of epidemic disease.

Continuing its disinfection and sterilization studies in public transportation vehicles in the capital city, Metropolitan Municipality closely follows the spraying works of minibuses after EGO and Private Public Buses and Rail Systems (ANKARAY, Metro and Teleferik).

CLEANING IN ANKARA OFFICER CONTROL

The Metropolitan Municipality Police Department's teams inspect the disinfection and sterilization works that are made compulsory for 2 thousand 56 dolmuses serving throughout the city, and warn the dolmus shopkeepers about hygiene rules.

The minibuses, which are one of the public transportation vehicles, are subjected to internal-external sterilization process with “Wide Spectrum Virus Disinfectant” daily. The disinfection and cleaning works carried out in collaboration with the Ankara Minibuses Chamber of Craftsmen and a private cleaning company are controlled in detail by the Ankara Police teams.

Care is taken to clean the seats, windows and handles especially for the internal structure of the vehicles in minibuses, which are checked for compliance with general cleaning and hygiene rules in the Bentderesi region.

Stating that it is intended for citizens to travel in a healthy and hygienic environment, Metropolitan Municipality Police Department Head Mustafa Koç informed that the inspections will continue throughout the province and made the following evaluations:

“We thought that the hygiene works started in EGO and Private Public Buses, Metro, Cable Car and ANKARAY wagons, if instructed by our Metropolitan Mayor Mr. Mansur Yavaş, would be incomplete in minibuses. By making a written notification to the Chamber of Merchants, we requested that chemical and biological cleaning be carried out every day against internal and external physical cleaning of vehicles as well as the risk of epidemics. I would like to thank the Chamber management, stall heads and minibus shopkeepers for acting responsibly for these efforts we started to protect our people from epidemic diseases. Başkent residents can safely ride all public transportation vehicles. Our police teams check whether cleaning work is done in the morning and evening every day. Together, we are preparing our Capital for the 100th anniversary of our Republic. It will bear the signature of a capital city Mansur Yavas, befitting the 100th anniversary of our republic. ”

Ankara Minibuscular Chamber of Craftsmen Erşan Ağören, emphasizing that public health is a priority, said, “Every minibus serving in Ankara is cleaned every day without exception. We are working hard to serve our citizens better, taking into account every notification received by the police teams of the Metropolitan. In this sense, I would like to thank the Metropolitan Police, which increased our service quality thanks to the controls they carried out, and the minibus shopkeepers who care about hygiene. ”
