The Ministry of Health has taken an important decision to increase the number of personnel within the scope of combating the corona virus. With the decision published in the Official Gazette, physicians who have received specialization training can be appointed for three months to combat the virus.
The following sentence has been added to the fourth paragraph of Article 11 of the Regulation with the amendment made in the Regulation on Specialization Training in Medicine and Dentistry and published in the Official Gazette.
“However, in unusual situations such as earthquakes, floods, epidemics, and when the service cannot be maintained normally, specialist students can be assigned to the same provincial healthcare facilities outside the institution where they are trained to carry out their physician duties, not to exceed 3 months. The time spent in these tasks is counted from the training period. ”
The Minister of Health will execute the provisions of the regulation that comes into force.
