After the coronavirus emerging in China and causing great panic all over the world, the eyes were turned into the cleaning of public transport. Cleaning activities are carried out meticulously in Marmaray, where an average of 500 thousand people travel daily in Istanbul.

The Marmaray wagons are first washed outside by a washing machine. Then the teams wearing their special clothes first wipe the armrests, seats and handles in the wagons with disinfectant materials. The teams wiping the floor of the wagons with disinfectant detergents finish the cleaning by squeezing the specially prepared disinfectant substance into the wagon.
