Kütahya Pressed Button for High Speed ​​Train Project

Transport and Infrastructure Minister Mehmet Cahit Turhan pressed the button for the Kütahya High Speed ​​Train (YHT) project. We have started survey projects to connect Eskişehir to Antalya via Kütahya and Afyonkarahisar by high-speed railway line.

Stating that Eskişehir will be connected to Antalya by high-speed railway line, Transport Minister Turhan said, “Eskişehir today is connected to all neighboring provinces by divided roads. By increasing the length of the 92 km bituminous hot road covered by the city to 328 km, we introduced the people of Eskişehir safely to comfort on the roads. Until the beginning of this year, we carried 18 million passengers on the Ankara-Eskişehir YHT line and 15 million on the Ankara-İstanbul YHT line. Now we press the button for a new railway project. Study projects have been initiated to connect Eskişehir to Antalya via Kütahya and Afyonkarahisar via the high-speed railway line and the works will be completed by the end of 2020. Then, we plan to start the construction of the fast railway by taking the project into the investment program within the budget possibilities. ”
