Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality will implement temporary routes in Gebze and Kartepe districts due to the Darıca - Gebze Metro line and ISU infrastructure work.
DARICA - GEBZE METRO LINE WORK
Istanbul Street is closed due to the work of Darıca - Gebze Metro line. As part of the study, which will start on Wednesday, 11 March 2020, the road will be closed to vehicle traffic. Temporary routes were implemented for public transportation and private vehicles using the route. The lines from Gebze east to Çayırova will use the temporary route of Istanbul Avenue west, İstasyon Avenue, Darıca Köprülü Crossroad and D100 North Side Road.
GEBZE TEMPORARY ROUTE APPLICATION
The lines going to Marmaray Gebze will also use the route consisting of İstasyon Avenue and İlyas Uzuner Avenue. The lines from Gebze North to Çayırova will use the route consisting of İlyas Uzuner Street, 608/1 Street, 626 Street and Mehmet Akif Ersoy Street. The lines going to Gebze from Çayırova will use the south side road, Eskihisar Ferry road, İstasyon Street and the North Road temporary route.
ISU WORK IN KARTEPE, TEMPORARY ROUTE WAS CREATED
Kartepe district Kazım Karabekir Street will be closed to vehicle traffic due to ISU infrastructure work. As part of the study, which will start on Wednesday, 11 March 2020, a temporary route has been created. Vehicles using Kazım Karabekir Street will use Efe Street and Atatürk Street as part of the temporary route application.
