Izmir Metropolitan Municipality continues to fight the new type of coronavirus epidemic. In line with the circular issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Metropolitan inspects whether commercial taxis comply with the traffic days. The Ministry of Internal Affairs arranged the exit of commercial taxis to traffic in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir according to the last digit of their license plates and announced that the taxis, whose odd number of license plates are one day, can be trafficed the next day.
There is a penalty of 392 TL
In İzmir, the audit started with the information of the teams of the Metropolitan Municipality Police Department, informing the relevant professional chambers, license holders and drivers. License holders who do not comply with the regulation will be fined 5326 TL in accordance with Article 32 of the Law No. 392 Misdemeanors for violating the Municipal Orders and Prohibitions Regulation.
