19 employees were quarantined after tests on new symptoms of coronavirus (Kovid-7) in personnel working in the garages of the Istanbul Electricity, Tramway and Tunnel Enterprises (IETT) affiliated with the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB).

IMM SözcüMurat Ongun, 7 people from IETT said that quarantine in their homes.
Ongun stated that the final test results of these employees have not been released yet.
Information of those with international contact was received
With the increase in coronavirus anxiety in IETT, the information of people who work in the company and have an international contact started to be collected.
The officials, who received a notification by e-mail to the company staff, said that personnel who have a high fever, feel hot when touching their chest or back, dry cough repeatedly, and complaints of inability to smell and taste should immediately apply to a health facility.
Other units were warned that “IMM personnel should not go to garages except a very important issue”.
Although the density of the vehicles connected to IETT is not at the old rate due to the epidemic, thousands of Istanbulites continue to use IETT vehicles.
Drivers in high risk group
IETT drivers, who carry thousands of passengers every day, are in the high risk group due to the Kovid-19 outbreak.
Apart from IETT buses, private public buses and Istanbul Bus Inc., also affiliated to IMM, provide transportation services in Istanbul.
İBB states that the vehicles are disinfected in detail every day.
