Pakistan-Turkey High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council VI. meeting was held in the capital of Pakistan, Islamabad, under the co-chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The Turkish delegation chaired by Selim Dursun, the Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, and the delegation participating in the negotiations on behalf of our organization, was chaired by Metin Akbaş.

The working group meeting, TOBB (Turkey Chambers and Stock Exchanges Union), which was organized by the prom (Great Anatolia Logistics) is the representative of ECO (Economic Cooperation Organization) issues for the resumption of his time Islamabad-Tehran-Istanbul container train was negotiated.

Moreover Transportation and Infrastructure Deputy Minister Selim Dursun and draft signed by Pakistan Railway Ministry Undersecretary "Republic of Turkey Transportation and Infrastructure Ministry with Islamic Republic of Pakistan Memorandum of Understanding Towards Cooperation in the Railway Area Between Railway Ministry" of the talks were held.

It is envisaged that the cooperation between the two countries can reach up to 3 billion dollars within the scope of the said Memorandum of Understanding, which envisages a wide content cooperation in the field of railroad, especially for the procurement, production, rehabilitation, maintenance and repair of towed vehicles and components for the development of railway transportation.
