The 03st Coordination and Consultation Meeting of the General Directorate of Transportation, which started in Ankara on 2020 February 1 with the participation of the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Mehmet Cahit Turhan, ended on 07 February 2020.

In the closing speech of the meeting, General Manager of TCDD Tasimacilik said that he was very pleased to meet with the top and middle level managers of the organization's central and provincial organizations, to exchange ideas, and to get to know them better.

“Our management approach is to do the best. We will achieve this together. ”

“We put our activities in 2019 at this first coordination and consultation meeting of our General Directorate of TCDD Transportation, which was established by the state with the liberalization of railway transportation. We made our evaluations in order to provide better quality, better service to our citizens and to carry our passenger and cargo transportation to a higher level. With 682 passengers a day, 170 freight trains, it is not at all easy to provide 12/7 24 days transportation service with our 365 thousand personnel to transport millions of passengers and thousands of tons of cargo to their destination. No matter how technology develops, the first factor affecting service quality is management understanding and human quality. In this regard, we have to do the best in our management approach. We will achieve this together. We will attach importance to trainings to further improve our human quality. We will use our resources in the most efficient and effective way in order to provide the best service to our citizens in the awareness that we are public institutions and public personnel. "

“Our managers will continue to be on the field”

Emphasizing that the railway sector is the main backbone in the Logistics Master Plan, Yazıcı pointed out that new high-speed rail lines will become operational in 2023 targets, and the passenger system will increase in conventional lines and freight transportation, especially the BTK line, will increase with the current system becoming fully electric and signaled, ”TCDD Tasimacilik As General Directorate, our duties and responsibilities of railway train management are increasing. I believe that my friends at all levels will strive to provide safe, quality service, being aware of this task and responsibility. I am sure that we will achieve this together with 164 years of railway culture and knowledge. ”

General Manager Yazıcı instructed the managers to continue their inspections more frequently in order to provide the best service to the citizens.
