Upon this, CHP Zonguldak MP Deniz Yavuzyilmaz said, “You are insuring your own car, but the state's 2 billion TL trains are not insured.”

SözcüAccording to the report of Deniz Ayhan from TCDD, the management announced that it would make a decision on insurance by making a “risk analysis” study. According to the report, Yavuzyilmaz stated that YHT, who was involved in the accident in Ankara in 2018 and killed 9 people, did not have insurance, saying, “The locomotives and wagons involved in the accident are no longer available. For this reason, the state suffered 114 million TL loss. ”

Yavuzyılmaz said: “TCDD, which lost 2.5 billion TL last year, also causes public damage due to railway vehicles. At the subcommittee meeting, I asked why 114 YHT sets, each worth 19 million TL, were not insured. They said that they had a risk analysis and that a decision would be made later on. YHTs have been carrying passengers on rails since April 2018. They are discussing whether we will still have insurance for public goods worth more than 2 billion TL over 2 years. ”
