Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) City Lines Inc. continues to add new ones to its ferry musicians. In the competition organized to improve the quality of music on ferries, after the applications made through the White Table, the performances of the musicians in the musician pool will be evaluated. The first auditions were held on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, out of 31 musicians who recorded at the White Table, 13 bands and soloists had demonstrated their ability to play instruments and sing in front of the jury.

SECOND STAGE, MONDAY, 24 FEBRUARY

The second stage of the competition, which was opened with the goal of better quality music, is at 24:2020 on Monday, February 10.00, XNUMX. Kadıköy In this stage, 82 musicians, who are still in the musician pool, will appear before the jury at this stage, which will be held in the training hall on the Ferry Pier (Karaköy-Eminönü Pier).

SELECTIONS WILL CONTINUE IN THE NEXT MONTH

Applications made to the White Table will continue to be evaluated next month. Candidates who are over the age of 20, who have mastered the instrument, graduated from the conservatory or are students will be preferred. When the auditions are completed, the musician pool of Şehir Hatları A.Ş. will be renewed.

3 PERSON JURY EVALUATES

The three-person jury included in the evaluations consists of Tunç Baydar, City Line AŞ Administrative and Social Affairs Officer and Steamer Musicians Coordinator Tunç Baydar, Üsküdar University lecturer Nazım Çınar and violin artist Batuğhan Çakmak.

LINES ARE DETERMINED WITH A COURSE IN THREE MONTHS

The musicians, who offer the opportunity for the ferry passengers to feel the music and watch Istanbul, KadıköyBesiktas, Kadıköy-Eminö the Kadıköy-Karaköy and Üsküdar-Eminönü boats show their performances. The musicians, who have special identities given by the City Lines, play and sing 09.00 hours a day on lines that change every three months between 24.00-3 every day.
