SAMULAŞ A.Ş., which meets the transportation needs of Samsun, also raises awareness of future generations. Within the scope of the Education Project, 13 students have been given practical training in 600 schools.
Within the scope of the project "Future Generations Are Being Conscious", SAMULAŞ A.Ş. explained the rules to be followed for safer use of public transportation vehicles and the benefits of public transportation to the city, the environment and the national economy. Within the scope of the project planned with the understanding of “today's minors are tomorrow's adults”, approximately 13 students in 600 schools got the opportunity to apply the information they learned in an instructive and entertaining way after getting trained in their classes in bus, tramway and cable car. It was observed that the education project, in which school administrators and teachers were also satisfied, was beneficial for the use of public transportation of children, and it was reported that the education and activities will continue with 18 students in 630 different schools.
PERSONNEL IS ALSO TRAINING
Stating that he attaches great importance to in-service trainings in order to increase the competencies of the personnel, SAMULAŞ General Manager Enver Sedat Tamgacı said, “SAMULAŞ personnel who received training on 2018 different subjects in 99, received training in 2019 different subjects in 104. While 2 thousand 445 personnel have received in-house training so far, we aim to train 121 personnel in 3 different subjects this year. We aim to minimize the problems experienced by our passengers in our daily life, as well as the tram, bus, cable car and parking services that our passengers use in their daily lives as well as contributing to the personal development of our personnel.
