The stops for the metro line, which will be built jointly by Alsim Alarko and Cengiz, have become clear. Details about the metro line built with the Build-Operate-Transfer model were published on the official website of Metro Istanbul. Tuzla metro line, which will be built as the extension of the Tavsantepe metro line, will be the continuation of the Rabbittepe metro. In addition to the metro line, which will start serving between Kadıköy Tuzla, there are 6 more stops. After Tavsantepe, there will be 6 new lines and Tuzla Municipality will be the last stop.
It will be integrated with Marmaray operation and High Speed Train lines at Pendik station and Kadıköy-Tuzla metro line at Kaynarca Central station. Transfer will be possible from the same station. According to Metro Istanbul data, there is currently 233,05 km active rail system railway line. Under construction, there is a 221,70 km line. The target metro line length is 1100 km. Currently, 16 subway and tram construction is ongoing and 14 are in the project phase.
