The First Application Will Begin at Metrobus
Istanbulkart is transformed from being a transportation card into a vehicle where all services in the city can be obtained. Soon, Istanbulkart will be used as a payment tool in all services of IMM. At the same time, new technological developments continue for transportation. With the motto of download, upload, scan, late, Istanbul residents will now be able to use their phones for transportation with the data matrix application in mobile applications. The first application will be on metrobus in March. Then, it will be able to use it in other means of transportation such as metro, ferry, and Marmaray. Citizens will benefit from transportation services wherever they want with their phones without carrying a plastic card in their pocket.
