Musician Selection Started for Istanbul City Lines Ferry

AŞ adds new ones to the voices that make music on ferries. Kent Hatları AŞ, which organizes a competition to improve the quality of music on ferries, started to evaluate the applications made over the White Table. On the first day, 13 groups and soloists appeared before the jury and performed.

City Lines Inc. Administrative and Social Affairs Specialist and Steamer Musicians Coordinator Tunç Baydar, Üsküdar University lecturer Nazım Çınar and violin artist Batuğhan Çakmak Kadıköy He listened to the musicians in the training hall on the Ferry Pier. Out of 31 musicians enrolled at Beyaz Masa, 13 bands and soloists demonstrated both their ability to play instruments and sing before the jury.

Reminding that there are 82 musicians in the steamer musicians pool, City Lines Inc. General Manager Sinem Dedetaş said that they want to give more musicians opportunities. Dedetaş said, “We aim to make the travel of our passengers more enjoyable by increasing the quality of the music on the ferries. At the same time, we want to give musicians an opportunity to announce their music. ”

 MUSIC QUALITY WILL INCREASE

82 musicians in the pool of ferry musicians will also be listened to in the competition, which is opened with the aim of better quality music. Steamer Musicians Coordinator Tunç Baydar said that these musicians will be evaluated by the jury on Monday, February 24. The jury will also continue to evaluate applications made to the White Table next month. Candidates who are over the age of 20, have a good command of the instrument, a graduate of the conservatory or are students will be preferred. When the auditions are completed, the musician pool of Şehir Hatları A.Ş. will be renewed.

 LINES ARE DETERMINED WITH A COURSE IN THREE MONTHS

The musicians, who offer the opportunity for the ferry passengers to feel the music and watch Istanbul, KadıköyBesiktas, Kadıköy-Eminö the Kadıköy-Karaköy and Üsküdar-Eminönü boats show their performances. The musicians, who have special identities given by the City Lines, play and sing 09.00 hours a day on lines that change every three months between 24.00-3 every day.
