METRO LINES

“There are many metro lines expected in the northern and western parts of Istanbul. What is the situation on these routes? ”

On 19 May, I hope that we will put this Mecidiyeköy-Mahmutbey line into operation and we anticipate that Istanbul will feel a really heavy load, especially the metrobus. At least our expert friends give us such statements. In addition, Eminönü-Alibeyköy line is the first of our works walking in the ear. He is also making an intense effort towards the end of 2020 to meet Istanbulites in the last quarter. These are stationary, standing points when we arrive. We came here and saw the state of this place 5-6 months ago. We had friends attending. I remember it was the end of July. We care a lot. Almost so, we do a review of the agenda and the situation twice a week, about our subway lines. For example; Bostancı-Dudullu line is a line that I am very bored and sad. Because it was a part of the E-5, which has a parking lot of 1000 vehicles, accommodates a number of works in the position of a very important transfer center, but also connects with the sea line. Now, getting into the investment plan is an event that paves the way for us to find the funding source. As IMM, this is a very special work that I have focused on commissioning this very fast. There is a very valuable line that connects people with business areas, overlapping stops on E-5, goes down to Bostancı, to the beach and passes through the minibus line. It was important for us to include the rate in the investment plan. On the one hand, we already commissioned our 3 lines. Let us have our Göztepe and Ümraniye lines… Let us have the Sultanbeyli-Çekmeköy line… Let us have the Tuzla-Pendik line… Connecting them to Sabiha Gökçen with one ear, the Tuzla-Pendik line… Important lines. In fact, we are planning to have our lines standing on our Anatolian side come to life and walk very intensely. All these works we have said, we are going to a fast run to reach our potential in 2024 kilometers in 600, with the lines made by the Ministry of Transport. There are parts of these lines that will be put into service in 2020 and 21. Very very important, valuable. We are excited. We are working to introduce our citizens intensely to the subway in Istanbul. Our new projects will be their additions. As you said, the west of Istanbul is a bit of a victim in this sense. Especially; Our line, which passes through Başakşehir and meets Bahçeşehir-Esenyurt section after Mahmutbey, likewise Beylikdüzü ... This Beylikdüzü subway was a metro work waiting for approximately 17 years. With the part of Beylikdüzü subway that connects to Sefaköy, we continue our intensive studies on the rate, work, project design and financing. I even got a briefing about it this week. Hopefully, we will announce the tender to our citizens as soon as possible.

THE EFFECT OF MECIDIYEKOY-MAHMUTBEY LINE ON TRAFFIC

“Between Mecidiyeköy and Mahmutbey, it reaches 1,5 hours during peak hours of traffic. On average, how many minutes will this line go after opening? ”

According to the information my friends gave me, they will have finished this line in 30-35 minutes, which we are talking about 15 stations, 1 million passengers per day. This is a line with very high bearing capacity. Later, when the Mahmutbey-Esenyurt line is activated, it will also be suitable for 8-vehicle operation. This is not just a Mecidiyeköy-Mahmutbey line, KabataşIt will be a line that will include Beşiktaş and continue to Esenyurt. The system in our control room, which you just saw, will turn into a project that encompasses this system and has the capacity and potential to manage those systems as it ends in time.

EFFECT OF KANAL ISTANBUL ON PROJECTS

“Does Kanal Istanbul prevent these subway projects by the way?”

Kanal Istanbul is of course an obstacle. It also envisages many changes regarding the projects. Kanal İstanbul has a cost of approximately 20 billion liras only with the change of the existing works of İSKİ. So; ISKI's lines, channels, treatment plants, even shifting and transferring them, 20 billion lira. Do you know what 20 billion pounds mean? Right now, it means making all of our metro lines that stop. Just the burden of ISKI. I say very clearly: Kanal Istanbul is in the mind of 'absent' in the mind of Istanbul; According to the money in our pocket 'no' it is the provision of Turkey penny of the money on behalf of the 'no' is the provision. The process of meeting Istanbul with such a project on behalf of our metro charges is in the absence of 'no'.
