Ankara Metropolitan Municipality EGO General Directorate will hold an auction for lost items that were forgotten in public transport in 2018 and whose owners were not available.
Every day, on March 21, the items that thousands of people have forgotten in public transportation will be sold.
437 GOODS FORGOTTEN
In Ankara, EGO buses will be returned to their owners, while 437 of the 186 forgotten items on the ANKARAY, Metro and Cable Car lines will be returned to their owners, while 251 will be sold by auction.
Indicating that the lost belongings of the citizens are kept in the Lost and Found Office and kept for a year, EGO officials said, “The goods are delivered to the citizens who report to the Lost and Found Office after the necessary checks are made. For a year, the items are kept registered, if not owned, they are put up for sale. ”
FROM MOBILE PHONE TO BICYCLE
Among the forgotten items are mobile phones, laptops, POS devices, cup sets, bicycles, glasses, umbrellas, books, bags, prams, barbecue wire, sunshade curtains and various household items.
