In line with the principle of transparent and accountable municipalism, İBB started to share the Business Performance Scorecard of METRO İSTANBUL A.Ş. with Istanbul residents every month. Nearly 60 million passengers were transported by rail systems in Istanbul in January. Passenger satisfaction rate was 96,1 percent.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), Turkey's largest urban rail system operator, an affiliate of METRO INC ISTANBUL, data opened to Istanbul. The capacity utilization density of the rail systems last month was 56,9 percent, below the Nova-Comet average of 69,9 percent. This showed that the vehicles in the fleet were used efficiently during peak hours.

According to METRO ISTANBUL's Operating Performance Scorecard, the readiness of elevators at stations is 96,64 percent and the average of Nova-Comet is 98,2 percent in January. The teams, who found that the elevator problems on the lines were less in hydraulic elevators and in more intensive electric elevators, continued their repair and maintenance works continuously throughout the month.

The rate of escalators being ready to use was 98,2, just below the Nova-Comet average, which was 98,01 percent. It was determined that the number of equipment in Topkapı-Masjid-i Selam Tramway (T4) was more frequent due to the low number of equipment compared to other errors, and this affected the escalator efficiency average.
