Metro Istanbul Hosted a 14-Person Delegation from Jordan

The delegation of 14 Jordanians visited Metro Istanbul and received information about public transportation systems from General Manager Özgür Soy.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality subsidiary companies of Turkey's largest city Istanbul Metro rail operators, hosted a delegation of 14 people from Jordan. The delegation, who wanted to benefit from the know-how and experience of Metro Istanbul about the public transportation systems they intend to start in Amman, was informed about the company activities.

General Manager Özgür Soy gave information

General Manager of Metro Istanbul Özgür Soy, with the President of the National Assembly of Jordan and the members of the Council of Amman, together with the Head of the Delegation of Amman Municipality, General Manager of the Development Bank of Cities and Villages, Managing Director of Public Transportation and Transportation Infrastructure, Director of Public Transportation Operations, Local Committees Decision Supervisor and the Deputy Mayor of Amman Municipality gave information about the public transportation systems to the delegation, which also includes the Director of the Special Pen.

General Manager Özgür Soy, who answered the questions by informing the delegation of Jordan about the company's domestic and international services, emphasized the qualified and equipped technical staff of Metro Istanbul and said: “We have one of the highest capacity driverless metro lines in the world and the second one in a short time. we will commission it. Our company has more than 30 years of experience, actively participating in many projects in the field of rail systems from design to research and development, and sharing its knowledge in many stages. ”

Lunch with staff

After the presentation made after General Manager Soy shared detailed data on operation, maintenance and repair, consultancy and other services, the delegation of Jordan had lunch with the company staff at Metro Istanbul Esenler Campus. The delegation, who visited the workshop area and examined the maintenance and repair activities on site, thanked Metro Istanbul General Manager Özgür Soy for his hospitality and the information he gave and invited him to Jordan.
