The 'Private Public Buses Transformation Project', which was initiated under the leadership of Van Metropolitan Municipality, started its implementation phase.
A significant distance has been covered in the project regarding the transformation of 45 public buses serving 104 routes in Van city center. With the project, in which the transformation works continue at full speed, 18 certificates of conformity have been issued so far, and registration and registration procedures have been carried out. Registration procedures for other vehicles continue. A tender will be made on February 40, 26 for 2020 new vehicles that will be added to the routes within the scope of the project.
With the decision taken at the Ordinary Meeting of the Transport and Coordination Center (UKOME) held in the Metropolitan Municipality in December 2019, minibus type buses with 17-seat, 1 handicapped and 3 standing passengers, which were transformed instead of private public buses, more modern appearance, fast mobility, comfort and road load mitigation features.
