UTİKAD Logistics Relations Report prepared by Alperen Güler, UTİKAD Sectoral Relations Manager 2019, as well as UTİKAD and Dokuz Eylül University Maritime Faculty Faculty Member. Dr. The Logistic Trends and Expectations Survey 2019-2020, which was prepared in collaboration with Okan Tuna and his team, received great attention from the press.

UTİKAD Traditional Press Meeting

It started with the presentation of UTIKAD President Emre Eldener's evaluations about the logistics industry. Sharing the sectoral developments in 2019 with the participants, President Emre Eldener started his words by sharing his criticisms of the Regulation on Transport Affairs Organization, which came into force last year. Stating that the cost of the TİO Authority Certificate has increased to 1 lira with the revaluation rate, depending on the TIO Regulation, which came into force on 2019 July 183.800, Eldener said, “We have always advocated the same idea during the preparation of the TIO Regulation. As UTİKAD, we also said that simplification should be made in the number of authority documents and also symbolic document fees should be charged. However, at the last point, unfortunately, the public has determined a fee of 150 thousand TL for the TİO Authority certificate. With the revaluation rate, the document fee has exceeded 183 thousand TL. In other words, if a company says that I want to be a Transport Affairs Organizer, it should pay 183 thousand 800 TL to the state and get this document so that it can legally carry the Transport Affairs Organizer. We now know that there are about 420 companies that have received this document. But in general, we had members who could not pay the fee of this high authority certificate and started to stop their activities. We are in constant contact with the Ministry on this issue and we will continue to raise the issue until this figure becomes symbolic. ”
