Turhan stated that his duty as the government was to ensure the smoke of the chimneys under all conditions, and said: “Our entrepreneurs should stand upright against the winds that blow from time to time. Everyone has to hold on to their job. Transportation is the lifeblood of economies. Production and commerce will find real value only if the transportation and communication infrastructure is strong. ”

Pointing out that the AK Party governments have approached this issue as a strategic area from the beginning, Turhan continued: “From this point of view, we started mobilization in the field of transportation in our country 17 years ago. Under the leadership of our President, we have dealt primarily with land, iron, sea and air and logistics centers as a whole. We have invested over 757 billion liras so far to strengthen our transportation infrastructure and integrate with the world. ”

Minister Turhan reminded that Eskişehir-Ankara High Speed ​​Train line was the first city to meet high-speed train in 2009, and that the city later reached Istanbul, the capital of the economy, with this line.

Sharing the information that 18 million passengers were carried on the Ankara-Eskişehir High Speed ​​Train line until the beginning of this year, Turhan said, “We carried 15 million passengers on the Ankara-Istanbul High Speed ​​Train line. We pressed the button again for a giant railway project. We started survey projects for the Eskişehir-Kütahya-Afyonkarahisar-Isparta / Burdur-Antalya high speed rail line. The project works will be completed by the end of 2020. ”

Speaking afterwards, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Mehmet Cahit Turhan said that they pressed the button for a giant railway project, “We have started survey projects to connect Eskişehir to Antalya via Kütahya and Afyonkarahisar via a high-speed rail line. Project work will be completed by the end of 2020. After the completion of the project work, we plan to include it in the investment program as a production within the budget opportunities. We have also brought the existing airport in Eskişehir to international standards for the safe landing and take-off of large body aircraft ”.

Referring to Turkey's export target Turhan, said: "Our country's export target of $ 2053 trillion in the year 1. For example, we set up logistics centers to increase the competitiveness of our businesses, to facilitate marketing opportunities and to make their combined transportation more active. When the 25 logistics centers we have planned are completed, we will provide 73 million tons of additional transportation to the sector. We also prepared a Logistics Master Plan. This plan will guide logistics investments in the coming period. Our ultimate goal is to lighten your burden, open your way much more. As long as you produce and employ more. ”
