Ankara Metropolitan Municipality is continuing its cleaning and disinfection works for the citizens who use public transportation in the capital to travel in a more hygienic environment.
The buses inside the EGO General Directorate are cleaned internally and externally and sprayed. For the disinfection of bus interiors, the product named Type-2, which is licensed by the Ministry of Health and approved by the World Health Organization, is used.

PRIORITY OF COMMUNITY TRANSPORT VEHICLES
Didem Taylan, Occupational Safety Specialist at Bus Management Department of General Directorate of EGO gave the following information:
“We conduct disinfection and internal and external cleaning of the buses that serve our citizens within the Bus Management Department of the General Directorate of EGO. In terms of public health, our citizens continue to work all night so that they can use our vehicles in a healthy way the next day. The disinfection product used is the Ministry of Health licensed, World Health Organization approved disinfection products and is not harmful to human health. ”
APPLICATION IN RAIL SYSTEMS
Metropolitan Municipality Environmental Protection and EGO General Directorate of Rail Systems Department, which considers public health especially in public transportation vehicles in Ankara, conducts meticulous cleaning and disinfection work in rail systems as well as buses.
Metro and ANKARAY disinfects regularly every month, cleaning work is done every week. 153 ALO Blue Table of citizens who immediately evaluate complaints from cleaning teams, respond to the points needed immediately. Stairs, toilets and common areas are all cleaned and pollution rates are also measured.

We think that the disinfection struggle that is carried out frequently in an area where there is a lot of people and pollution load is very important for human health. ”
Zeliha Kaya, Metro Support Services Branch Manager of EGO General Directorate of Rail Systems Department, stated that they carry out cleaning activities on a daily and weekly basis and said, “Hygiene is our priority. We are working for a cleaner transportation ”.
