TransportationPark, a subsidiary of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, announced that Akçaray has recently opened 3 passengers in the 100-month timeframe of the Beach Road station. Akçaray Beach Road station, which was put into service on November 11, 2019, provided service to approximately 1 thousand passengers in 35 month. Akçaray, which facilitates the transportation of citizens, has succeeded in moving its service network even further with the opening of the Beachway station.
9 THOUSAND PASSENGERS PER WEEK
9 thousand passengers traveled through the Beachway station turnstile in a week. Akçaray tram, which draws attention with its rising graphic, increased the passenger transportation figures with the opening of the Beach Highway station. Achieving above the expected goals, Akçaray has succeeded in becoming the first choice of citizens with the transportation it offers fast, clean and comfortable. With the opening of the Beachway Station, Kuruçeşme also enabled citizens residing in the Yeni Mahallesi and the Beachway area to also prefer the tram.
290 SEFER IN THE DAY
Akçaray carries citizens to the point they want to go by making 290 trips a day. Akçaray offers comfortable transportation to citizens along the 20-kilometer line between the round-trip bus station and beach stations. Trams that run every 5 minutes during peak hours are preferred by citizens.
