Qatar decided to restart the Sharq Crossing project, which will connect Ras Abu Aboud to the West Bay region, as a priority project.

Letters of intent were given for the $8 billion Sharg Crossing project in Qatar. Turkish companies LİMAK, TEKFEN, STFA, YAPI MERKEZİ, IC İÇTAŞ and NUROL officially announced that they would participate in the giant tender. However, only LIMAK and TEKFEN from Turkey were invited to the $8 billion giant project in Qatar. Letters of intent for the giant project, which will be established by local companies and international companies determined by the administration, were given on January 12.

The Sharq Crossing project, which attracts the attention of all international construction companies and includes immersion tube sea transitions, is planned to be raised in the World Cup in 2022, hosted by Qatar.
