The electric bus project launched by Manisa Metropolitan Municipality in order to relax the city traffic and contribute to the environment was presented to the service of the people of Manisa last year. Within the scope of the project, test drives of 24-meter high passenger electric buses, which received the certificate of conformity from the Turkish Standards Institute, were started. Accordingly, a test drive was carried out from the City Hospital to Celal Bayar University İlhan Varank Campus for the electric bus. The 24-meter-long electric buses are planned to be integrated into the public transport system as soon as possible.
Environmentally friendly electric buses integrated into the public transportation system of Manisa within the scope of the transformation move initiated by the leadership of Cengiz Ergün, the Mayor of Manisa Metropolitan Municipality, were put into service of the people of Manisa last year.
