A Turkish company Malolos Clark Railway Project in Philippines came to the fore with the lowest bid in the CP S-01 Section tender. About Malolos Clark Railway tender 160 million USD with the lowest bid. In the tender where the total 2 bid was issued, the other bid came from TAISEI + DMCI partnership.
Malolos Clark Railway Project Details
The MCRP will be built as two railroad tracks, including a 51,2 km section connecting the City of Malolos to the Clark regional growth center and a 1,9 km expansion connecting the NSCR to Blumentritt Station in Manila. The project will also include the construction of a metro station that will provide short connections at the CIA. It will also include bridges and viaducts for the elevated part of the rail line.
The MCRP will have a total of seven elevated stations with two separate platforms, width 60 m to the right (ROW).
Stations will have elevators and escalators for easy passenger movement, and automatic fare control systems, including ticket vending machines, gates, fare setting machines, data collection machines and office reservation machines. Electric multiple unit (EMU) trains on the new line will operate in three categories: commuter train, express commuter train and limited express train at the airport. Trains will run at a maximum speed of 160km/h.
The new railway line is expected to make an estimated daily trip of about 2022 people by 81.000.
